Biography
Christin Tellefsen is the Managing Director and senior partner of ESR Ltd (since 1998) and the co-founder of the US operation in 2001. She has personally been involved in more than 3500 recruitments of specialists and manager, both domestically and international. Christin is a leading expert on executive search and human behavior futurology. A leading business magazine has ranked her as one of the top five female headhunters in the field.
Next to headhunting Christin works for her larger clients with human behavior futurology, with focus on predicting future performance of key employees. In 2012, she completed the extensive 17 year (1995 -2012) human predictability and behavior project; "Can People Change?”. The project resulted in creation of CPI (Corporate People Intelligence); a long term forecasting model for individual and organizational behavior.
Before building up ESR in Scandinavia and USA, she worked for the world’s largest retained executive search firm Korn Ferry International. Prior to entering the field of recruitment she co-founded a newspaper covering the job market for people seeking employment, with emphasis on forecasting future trends in the various growth sectors of the economy. Christin is the author of several books on recruitment as well as the human behavior trilogy inspired by Carl Jung’s teachings, based on the LIFE ideology.
Christin is of Norwegian ancestry and conducted her undergraduate studies in Psychology at California Lutheran University. Next to her professional work Christin is an avid futurist and a member of World Future Society.
