Biography

Christian Schoyen is the CEO of ESR Ltd, which he founded in 1997. He has personally been involved in more than 3500 recruitments of specialists and managers for global Fortune 500 companies, both domestically and international. Christian is a leading expert on executive search and human behavior futurology.

Next to headhunting Christian works for his larger clients with human behavior futurology, with focus on predicting future performance of key employees. In 2012, he completed the extensive 17 year (1995 -2012) human predictability and behavior project; "Can People Change?”. The project resulted in creation of CPI (Corporate People Intelligence); a long term forecasting model for individual and organizational behavior.

Before launching his headhunting company in 1997, Christian worked for two world leading headhunting organizations; A.T. Kearney in Scandinavia and Ward Howell International in Los Angeles and Chicago. Prior to entering the field of recruitment he founded a newspaper covering the job market for people seeking employment, with emphasis on forecasting future trends in the growth sectors of the economy. He is the author of "Secrets of the Executive Search Experts", -- the U.S. bestselling book for companies on how to assess and recruit people and a human behavior trilogy inspired by Carl Jung’s teachings, based on the LIFE ideology.

Christian graduated with a BBA from Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA in 1991 and conducted his ethnic studies at California State University. Next to his professional work Christian is an avid futurist and a member of World Future Society.
